What direct mail services do you offer?
We offer a vast range of services from magazine subscriptions, newsletters, postcards, one-piece mailers, polywrapping, envelope insertion mailings – all of which can be tailored to suit your marketing plan and budget.
How do I send you my name and address lists?
Ideally, we would like your data in an xls or csv Excel spreadsheet but don’t worry if your data is not perfect we can clean it for you at no extra cost to you.
How many items do I have to post to obtain a discounted rate?
In order to post your mail via mailsort a minimum of 4,000 letters ie A5/A6 items or 1,000 large letters ie A4 items are required to obtain substantial savings.
Can you mail 1st and 2nd class?
Yes, we can mail items 1st or 2nd class, 1st class is next day delivery and 2nd class 2/3 day service.
What happens if mail gets returned to me?
Direct Solutions offer a returns management service. This service enables you to cleanse your data and remove any people/companies who have moved or gone away meaning you will save money on your next mailing. We have a range of options for returns, such as securely destroying items using our confidential waste facility, sending back to you or recycling.
How long does it take for my mailing piece to land on door steps if I send items overseas?
At Direct Solutions, we post the majority of overseas mailings via a priority service through Royal Mail. European countries like Germany, France and Spain, is a speedy 3-5 working days and just 5-7 working days for the rest of the world – even to countries on the other side of the globe, like Australia, China or New Zealand.
What environmentally friendly mailing options do you offer?
Direct Solutions offer a variety of environmentally friendly posting options including bio-degradable and recyclable polywrap, Fully Recyclable, Fully biodegradable padded envelopes and we only use recycled paper and envelopes.
Do you offer pick and pack services?
Yes, we offer a comprehensive pick and pack service from sorting to labelling, distribution, audit trails and returns processing.
Will I get a proof of my product before printing?
Yes, we will always give you a PDF proof to approve [even if you provide the artwork] to ensure that nothing is lost in transit of emails.
Can I print just 50 or 100 leaflets?
Yes, we have the ability to print small quantities too.
If I supply the artwork, how would you like the artwork to be supplied?
As a vector-based file with a 300dpi. This file can be either as a PDF or an eps.
Can you colour match items?
Various items can be colour matched for an extra charge.

Can you print duplicate pads?
Yes, we can produce NCR (no copy required), we can print various sizes, these can be up to 6 part sets or pads.
